Short curls help?!?!?

Well I cut my hair short recently, and I haven't curled my hair because I think it might come out really short! I want to try to get curls like Vanessa Hudgens in HSM2! I love her curls/waves!!

Well I want to try to get these curls but, I need help on what type of curler to get. I've choosen one, but I don't know if the curler would give me the type of curls I want.

I've never used hot rollers before, but do hot rollers give the same effect as using a curler? I mean do they give tight bouncy curls?

Yes that's the correct curler.

Just make sure you knwo how to use it. I think that's the type of curler that you don't roll it up you roll it around. (if that makes sence :) )

Also yes hot curlers do give you the tight curls. but i don't recommend you using them cause you have to buy them by the pack and they ussually have different sizes. And you only need the small ones not the big ones that are included. so yea don't watse your money on that.

I know this sounds crazy but don't use a curler, use straighteners! You take a piece of hair (not a strand) and clamp the straighteners on the top part of the hairand roll the straighteners as you pull them down your hair, i think it looks much better than using curlers and it works better. myself i do not care for Vanessa Hudgens, but if you like her then very well. Hotrollers work great, but you will need good holding hairspray with those. The curler you suggested is very good and i probably will get one myself, however to achieve the look you want use hotrollers.

if you roll your hair inward than it flips your hair inward. if you roll your outward it flips your hair upward. to achieve this look then roll your hair towards the right on the right side and to the left on the left side. roll the curlers to the side and hairspray it.

i went in great depth because you said you had never used hotrollers.
