I have thin, stringy hair. Im looking for a new cut. HELP!!?

My hair is very thin, fine, stringy, straight and ugh. The ends of my hair are split, dry, and brittle. But it only gets worse, I have to wash my hair everyday because it gets so greasy just after one day. I will wash it in the morning, by the next morning its oily at the crown of my head. If I dont wash it for two days my hair is just gross and oily. Its a pain in the butt...My hair is about to my shoulder blades now and I want to cut it shorter somewhere around my shoulders/neck area. I dont really have bangs now and I dont know if my hair, being so thin, can handle bangs. I want side-swept but I have a feeling they will just be flat and unmanageable. If you have any suggestions let me know! Please!!!

Some people like wispy, full on bangs across the forehead. I'm not one to argue. Sorry, but thin hair like that looks best when it's short. Like, to the ears or above. Maybe try a pixie cut or some short choppy styles.

Bring your hair up to your shoulders and have it blunt cut. Don't do layers because that will make it look even thinner. You don't have to get side bangs this time,you could think about it for awhile and then next time you get your hair trimmed you could do it. Don't do layers! you will have to put to much effort into it all the time.
