wtf i do not know why two people, let alone one, gave that other person a thumbs up. the sun damages your hair just like it damages your skin.

use a really good shampoo and conditioner, like the ones you get at sally's or a professional hair salon. try not to blow dry it or straighten it very often, and when you do, use a heat protectant. i use a brand called ceramic silk and it's amazing. i love it. you can buy it at sally's if you're interested in trying it.

just from babying my hair as i described above, my hair has already started growing like crazy.

i don't know if i would go back to a salon again though, after you take the time to grow it back out. hair dressers never really know exactly what you want. it seems like they all have one style, and that's the only one they ever use on anyone. i never trust hair salons to cut my hair. they always screw it up. like seriously i've never been happy with one. unless you go to the really prestige ones that cost hundreds of dollars. i've never been to one of those, so maybe they're better.
