Help! My hair is so greasy feeling.?

Ever since my hair was cut shorter, it looks thinner, and is softer and gerasier feeling. I washed it last night (I usually wash in the morning), but we went fising and got rained on, so I washed last night, and after sleeping on it, it's a matted down, thin stringy mess that feels like buttered cotton candy. What am I doing wrong here? I guess I'll always have to just wash in the a.m. Seriously, is there a shampoo and conditioner combo out there to combat this greasy feeling yucky hair to dry it out. I used to have dry naturally curly hair. I think maybe I'm going through premenopause or something. I'm 30, though. I'm getting a little distressed about this. Any suggestions?? Why is my hair thinning and getting too soft to style?

Help! My hair is so greasy feeling.?

you dont wash it every day do you?

every second day. washing hair too often just stimulates more oil to produce.

it will even out after a week doing it less often.

Being short, the oils can distribute through the hair quicker too so will seem more greasy than it did with long hair cause the grease never used to reach the ends

ask your hairdresser though caus ethere are special shampoos for it. ive heard rinsing in vinegar helps too

Use a moisturizing shampoo every day. This may sound weird, but when you have dry hair, your head produces more oil. If your hair is greasy, dust some loose powder makeup (the same shade as your hair color) at your roots. I know, it might seem weird, or be embarrassing, when you're checking out with makeup, but it's a lot less degrading than waking around with greasey hair. You can also buy an anti hair loss shampoo, to thicken hair, and help it grow in faster.

Hope I helped.

Use a clarifying shampoo about once a month and that will get your hair less greasy and also free of dirt and soap scum...eew!
