How do i get my hair to grow longer and faster?
hey! I had the same problem!
First of all ... DO NOT CUT IT! THough, you should trim it every 3 to 4 months and make sure you only cute off what is needed. I suggest you even ask the hair stylist to trim it only a 1/4 inch or so! Try to go as long as possible without having terrible split ends because then you will have to cut off more than you want!
Secondly, braid your haird into two (or more) little braids (if you can) when you go to bed. Or you could wear it like that to school but this will actually stop the hair from braking off and it helps quicken the speed!
Third, I would not brush it too often because that creates split ends and that's why you go get it trimed. You don't want that!
So hope that anwsers your question and have a wonderful day!

Don't keep getting it cut. Have it trimmed 1/4" every 3months and just let it grow. Mine is nearly to my waist and I've had long and short hair. Brush it from the scalp 100 strokes before bedtime. Don't keep it in a pony tail or hair clip when you sleep or swim.
Good luck.

How do i get my hair to grow longer and faster?
a healthy diet will do it all for ya :]
first of all
vitamin e is good for the hair
it is moisturizing
and vitamin a
is good for the scalp
and healthy hair growth
protein makes ur hair grow faster than anything else because
hair is basically made of protein
so
eat eggs.. and dairy products
yogurt, milk, soymilk, and tofu are great examples
citrus fruits are also good for the hair.. and seaweed has a lot of vitamin a. vitamin a can be found in leafy veggies and carrots, especially. it is important to drink enough water to keep ur hair hydrated. 8-10 glasses is suggested for healthy hair growth. also, iron plays an important role in maintaining and growing healthy hair. iron brings oxygen to the hair, allowing it to breathe like us basically
(not the same way obviously)
and so if u dont take enough iron.. ur hair will be starved of oxygen and lose its shine, luster, etc.
b vitamins are also great for the hair. salmon, coldwater fish, and sardines are great fish that contain many of the vitamins hair needs.
i hope this information helped you!!
How do i get my hair to grow longer and faster?
Okay.
I have realy long hair, like mid back. and this is after my hairdresser butchered it into one of those terrible bobs that were in when I was in like 5th grade. So since then, I have never been to a salon for a haircut. My sister trims it every once in awhile for split ends. That is the base work
After that, PRENATAL VITAMINS. you dont ave to be pregnant to take them, they are really good for hair and nails, and will make your hair grown longer faster, and it will be much healthier,
DONT straighten or heat style it. The less heat it gets the better it will grow.
And for now, HAIR EXTENSIONS!!! if you get good ones people will hardly be able to tell they are fake. My sister got some and they really look good.
But, fyi, there are some REALLY cute styles you can do with short hair, even with a pixie cut you can look adorable!!! Ask your hairdresser to show you some short hair styles and flip through a vouge, you might just start a whole new trend where you live!!

That happened to me. I went in for a trim and the hairdresser got scissor happy and I came out looking like Oprah in the late 90's lol. I started wearing braided extensions and using pro-fective products to condition and style my hair while in braids. The braids protect the hair from daily styling damage. I used shea butter on my scalp every night and massaged it and sprayed it with a leave in conditioner made from infusium, 911 and carrot oil every morning amd at night. I also wrapped them up to protect the edges from breaking off. Just make sure you don't leave them in too long. When you are taking out your braids, put a deep conditioner on them before you start taking them down to make sure you don't have any unnecessary breakage. Also, after they are down, deep condition them, get a touch up (if you have a perm,) trim your ends and wash it good before u have them put back in. I wore individual braids so I would have them redone every 2-3 months, making sure I got my touch up and trim and deep condition so that my hair wouldn't break off while in braids. My hair finally grew back to the pre-cut length in a year I think.
PS The 100 strokes doesn't work on black hair because we dont have oil glands in our scalp. The reason that brushing your hair 100 strokes works for other races is because they are essentially brushing the oil from their scalp through out the hair shaft, making it shiny and healthy. Being as black hair doesnt have that natural oil, brushing it 100 strokes a day can be very damaging.
