either cut it short but not really short, so you can see half the curls, and if you have a gf, she can still run her hands thru your hair, or start straightening it and get it cut like a surfer/skater style.

My advice is to leave it long. When curly hair is cut short, there's nothing to weigh it down and it tend to poof. You'll end up using a LOT more "product" than you're used to to keep it in line.
If you DO decide to cut it short, make sure the stylist cuts it DRY so their are no surprises and make sure it's someone who knows how to cut and shape curly hair!

i wouldnt cut it to short because it you have a lot of hair then it will just stick out so i would cut it shoulder length
