Can anyone help me with my hair problems?

1-how fast does hair grow?

2-i have long hair (like down to my belly button) and my hair has layers, how do I cut ALL the split ends?

3-how do you make hair grow faster?

4-how do I stop more split ends from forming?

5-how do I protect my hair when i straighten it?

and p.s. please dont tell me to cut my hair short or anything

1- hair can grow fast or slow. it all depends on your eating habits, how often it is up, and your gene's.

2- take vertical sections not horizontal place fingers at an angle and you will see where the ends start - match them up and trim off a 1/2 cm.

3- growing hair faster is all in how healthy it is; putting you hair up in a pony tail or something like that makes it grow faster.

4- it is a natural accurance for split ends but not using products like mouse, gel, and hairspray will slow them down- find the proper bruch or comb for your hair will also slow them down.

5- the best advice I can give here is after straightening -like when you leave to go out or whatever- I put my hair gently in a clip so the wind won't blow it-

Never cut hair that is long and beautiful- anyone who does is nuts!!! LOL!!!

P.S to try to repair split ends there is some products you can buy- not sure on who makes them and which is best and so on but i know it is called split end therapy or something like that but I have heard it works. Do not worry - these are all just simply to slow down the process- split ends will always happen but slowing it down is the next best thing!!!

everyone's hair grows at a different rate, mine grows about 6 inches every 3mos, my daughters grows about 6inches a year

if you have layers and want to keep them just get your hair cut (to cut the split ends off only)--you cannot repair them

get scalp treatments, wash it and condition it regularly

conditioner conditioner conditioner for split ends, if you are coloring, perming or processing your hair in any way stop it, the chemicals will cause split ends after a while

use a conditoning straigtner (most packages come with one)

4-you cut your hair regulary and you don't straighten, curl, heat your hair a lot without a sheild

5-you apply a heat sheild or leave-in conditioner you can buy from many stores

You don't have to chop of a lot of hair or make it short Just a little to keep it healthy and prevent split ends

3 vitamins like a multi and actually fish oil supplement, The UK actually has one in a prescription form. but get one from the supplement isle in a department store

4 with hair that long its hard, but keep using that ego boost every day

5 Silicone! Chi has a great product line for straightening. but if you have a shine spray laying around, you can use that. spray your hair from about the ears down and then straighten
