I need help on dealing with my mom about growing my hair out long. Im a 29 year old male and i work for my mom. Earlier in the year she said to me that i can grow my hair long but she does not like the way it looks now. She doesnt know that my hair will look bad for awhile while its growing out. What can i do to talk my mom into not making me cut my hair short again?

It's your hair and your choice. It shouldn't be up to her what you do with it. I let my Mom tell me what I should do with my hair for too long. I had really really long hair. When I was 18 I had enough and cut it. She was upset, but got over it!
Because you are an adult and it's your choice she will get over it too.

try putting it in a bun------pull it all back in a ponytail wrap the long ends around the poonytail all around and pin it in.

Your mom doesn't like your hair the way it looks now.Why don't u go and have a haircut.As u mentioned above..u don't want to cut it short, right?Well, instead of cutting it short..why don't you just style it.There are many style for long hair nowadays..find a good stylist and get a haircut that looks good on you.Talk to your mom about this...i'm sure she will understand.
